Every immersive safety training vendor starts the conversation the same way: how many headsets do you need?
It's a fair question if you've already decided to buy VR. But it quietly assumes a lot — that you have hardware budget, that IT will support a fleet of devices, that someone will charge, sanitize, update, and track them, and that your workers will come to wherever the headsets live.
For most plants, that assumption is the reason immersive training never happens.

It has to be your facility, not a stock one
Generic training shows a generic factory. Workers recognize instantly that it isn't their equipment, their layout, or their procedure — and they tune out. Recognition is what makes it stick.
The worker has to make decisions
Watching a video is passive. Choosing what to do, getting it wrong, and finding out why — that builds reflex instead of recall. In a real incident, people don't retrieve a fact. They act.
It has to adapt to the person
A new hire and a ten-year technician should not get the same training. Neither should a Spanish-speaking operator and an English-speaking engineer.
